Tour Information |
National Park Service (NPS) permits are not available until 180
days prior to your actual trip date.
NPS Permits are limited to 30 paddle craft boats per a day and
they are given out on a first come, first serve basis. The following information
is necessary for Boulder City Outfitters to try and get you a permit, but it is not a guarantee. Someone
from our staff will be in contact with you within 24 hours to inform you of your
permit and reservation status. |

Boulder City Outfitters Kayak Policies
National Park Service (NPS) Policies:
NPS Permits are limited to 30 paddle craft boats a day. They are given out on a first
come, first serve basis and there is NO guarantee we will be able to get you a permit.
NPS Permits are only available 180 days prior to your trip date.
NSP Permits are non-refundable, but can be used within 6 months of your trip date,
should you have to cancel.
The NPS only allows 2 name changes on the actual date of your trip.
All names of each person going are needed in order to obtain permits.
Photo ID’s are required for all participates 16 and older at the time of your
launch
NPS permits are $13 per a person and full payment is due at the time of purchase.
Boulder City Outfitters (BCO) Policies:
By submitting your information, you authorize BCO to charge your credit card the
proper and total amount of the kayak trip, as long as a permit is available to you.
Someone from the BCO staff will be in contact with you with in 24 hours of receiving
your reservation request (via phone or email).
Payment in full is due 14-days prior to your actual trip date.
There is no refund for any customer who cancels within 14 days of their actual trip
date, only a gift certificate can be extended.
Each reservation is only allowed 1 change (ex: # of boats and people), which is to
be made 5 days prior to trip date. A $25.00 processing fee will be charged for any
additional changes made.
A $200.00 deposit is required when reservations are made and balance is due 14 days
prior to actual trip date.
All kayak trips are scheduled to run anywhere from 6:30am to 6:00pm including hotel
transportation. We strongly recommend that you do not have other obligations to meet
during or around these times. BCO staff is under no obligation to get you to a particular
place earlier then the times stated above.
While on your kayak trip you will be required to wear a PFD (Personal Floatation
Device) at all times while in your boats.
While on your kayak trip you are subject to NPS and BCO rules.

An additional separate charge of $13 per a person
is necessary for the National Park Launch Permit
Reminder: Bring a hat, sunglasses, sturdy water shoes and sunscreen. You will be
arriving back at your hotel around 5pm-5:30pm depending on traffic. We recommend that
you don’t book a show or dinner after the tour. |
